Summer Ideas

The Birthday Party Project is a local organization that gives you the opportunity to share your birthday with others! You have the option to create a donation page in lieu of gifts or have your friends and family bring birthday gifts to give to those that benefit from Birthday Party Project Parties. The children receiving parties and gifts are living in homeless and transitional living centers throughout the country.

Did you already celebrate this year? You're in luck. Volunteers over the age of 5 are welcome to join the party! Navigate to the calendar and find a time that you can attend one of these amazing parties!

Upload that image somewhere, like Photobucket, to host it. Grab the direct URL of that image and place it inside the quotations where it currently says PROFILE_IMAGE_DIRECT_URL. Add a link to your about page URL, if desired, where it says "ABOUT_PAGE_URL." If you don't want to link to your about page, just remove that part of the code. Place your caption between the div tags where it says YOUR_CAPTION_HERE. Make sure to add a first line to the FIRST_LINE_HERE spot. If you take a look at the demo blog for your theme, you'll see that the first line has a special style applied to it. This is great for a short blurb like "Hello!" or "Welcome." If you don't want anything on the first line like that, just delete the words "FIRST_LINE_HERE" from the code to make sure that doesn't show up as your first line. Once done, copy and paste the finished code into an HTML/Javascript gadget in your sidebar.
